Close to 45 years have past since the last great ninja world war which resulted in the destruction of the 5 great lands yet from the ashes a new world of ninja was born.
An arena built in the center of a volcano thats kept there by 4 support beams that reach outside of the volcano's peak, if 1 beam were to break it would cause the whole arena to tilt, if all were to break then the arena would plummet into the lava below. The Boiling Bowl is Yamagakure's entertainment of sorts for their strongest shinobi participate in the arena for honor and for the rewards if they beat all competitors, of course any shinobi can participate in the arena (accessible for battle and training)
The canyon is an underpass within the far eastern side of Yamagakure that leads out of the village and forks into Hokorigakure and to Kaijingakure. The canyon itself is covered in massive clusters of crystals that cover from the walls of the cayon to the bottom of the canyon, so don't slip or trip or else you could be impaled by the crystals (accessible for battle and training)
